Future of Insurance
The next phase of the Future of Insurance project is based at the IE Silicon Valley Hub, connecting work from the IE School of Science & Technology with Berkeley student and research counterparts.
The project began with Klaus Mühleder and Vienna Insurance Group, together with IE students Fabian Vagnoni and Marian Garabana. It now builds on that foundation through the Hub's transatlantic bridge.
Using an AI Factory model, the team aims to predict how insurers' financial outcomes could change, not only because of climate change, but also as emerging technologies reduce risks, mitigate losses, and create new insurance possibilities.
Teams of AI agents can support research, scenario analysis, and testing, making it possible to explore futures that once sounded like science fiction and turn them into practical analysis.
